Yorkshire Dale Bird Guides specialise in guided birdwatching walks designed to help you develop your birdwatching skills. All of our birdwatching activities are personally designed to meet your requirements.
We guide you through some of the best birdwatching sites in the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding areas. Whilst pointing out all of the birds and wildlife that is in the area at that time, we go into more detail explaining how & why we made our identification. Where to look for specific birds, habits and habitat, breeding and migration, population, conservation and distribution. We point out birdsong & calls and help to develop your bird song recognition.
At the end of the activity you will be amazed at how many more birds you have seen. You will know more about them. Your field skills will have improved and you will be finding and identifying birds more confidently yourself.

All participants are sent a full written bird report of the day.
We recommend that you bring your own binoculars.
Depending on the type of activity, we do provide at least one top of the range telescope that you can use.
